What does Humanities have to offer?

Members of our departments are engaged in the community by participating in volunteer programs like the Speakers Bureau to bring topics in our areas of expertise to schools, service groups, senior’s facilities and others the community.

Looking for a specific researcher or what experts we have in a field of study? The UVic expertise database gives you access to the wealth of research expertise UVic has to offer.

Are you a teacher or prospective student? Does your classroom or group want to learn more about an area in Humanities? Many departments have faculty that will visit your classroom. Or, perhaps you would like to arrange to sit in on a class on campus.

The events in Humanities are numerous. Come to campus to attend seminars or talks by experts.
