Pacific and Asian Studies

"What better place to study the Asia-Pacific region than at the University of Victoria?"  The answer is Asia.

Poised on the edge of the Pacific Rim, UVic is home to a thriving community of scholars who research, write, and teach about the Asia-Pacific.  Our department offers BA and MA programs that build on the broad cultural, political, and economic importance of the Asia-Pacific region. We are a dynamic, multidisciplinary department, offering a compelling set of courses on language, culture and society, as well as an exciting and nurturing environment for our students.

Course offerings for Fall 2016 and Spring 2017.
