GRS 100: Greek and Roman Civilization

This course is a foundational approach to Greece and Rome through literature, history and archaeology. Focus on ancient cultural and intellectual material of significance in the western tradition. Emphasis on early Greek history, literature of Classical Athens and the culture of Republican and Augustan Rome. Basic timeline of eras and events and general aspects of material culture, from the Bronze Age to the fall of Rome.

There are no pre-requisites to take this course!
