iClicker Workshop on April 14th 2015

Technology Integrated Learning is joining with i>clicker to offer an upcoming workshop for instructors! The workshop will be held on Tuesday April 14th 2015, from 3-4pm in CLE A105.

i>clicker is an audience response system being used at over 900 universities in North America. i>clicker is a great tool for engaging students in the classroom. Faculty can learn to use i>clicker to generate real-time feedback, encourage discussion, and improve student performance, participation, and engagement in the classroom.

This workshop will be presented by i>clicker specialist Shannon Frame. She will review other pedagogical uses of i>clicker as well as various solutions including physical remotes and web-based apps. She will look at the different functionality offered as well as specific features such as self-paced polling.

If you are thinking about using i>clicker in the future, please join us for this hands on session. There will be plenty of opportunity to practice and provide your feedback.

Please RSVP to TILhelp@uvic.ca. We look forward to seeing you there!
