Norman Ruff, Colleagues stunned by Mike Harcourt's decision to quit NDP
Former BC Premier Mike Harcourt has left the New Democratic Party, stunning many colleagues and political analysts including professor emeritus Norman Ruff who at first thought it was an April Fool's joke yesterday. He is quoted in the Vancouver Sun today saying that Harcourt's announcement is a major wake-up call for the party. VS
