Copy services

If you need copies of Special Collections material, you can either copy it yourself or ask us to copy it for you. Either way, you need to ask a Special Collections staff member first. Most of the material in our collections may be copied but we will deny requests to copy restricted materials.

Self-service copying

You are welcome to use your own camera or phone to take pictures of material in our reading room. We also provide free scanners and a paid photocopier. Ask a Special Collections staff member before you scan or photocopy any of our materials.

Ordering copies

We support limited digitization requests of items from Special Collections. For book-chapter or article-level scanning of copyrighted materials, please request through your local Interlibrary Loan service.

If you need us to make copies for you, submit a reproduction request form. Please fill out the form and submit it electronically or to or via fax to 250-721-8215.
