Patrick works as a web designer at HCMC. From mobile phones to desktop screens, he cares about how a website looks, reads, and performs for its viewers.

With an MA in History from UVic, Patrick has lived in Europe, Africa, and Papua New Guinea. Has has worked as a volunteer tech support for NGOS like Save the Children and World Wildlife Fund, both as an individual and through organizations like CUSO. He has also worked as a volunteer instructor in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Patrick is a self-taught designer, beginning with the University of Victoria's History department and HCMC in 2000 as a work-study student. He eventually became a freelance designer until being hired by HCMC in 2016.

Patrick has worked as a designer on many of the HCMC's major projects, including The Canadian Great War Project, Great Unsolved Mysteries in Canadian History, Le Mariage Sous L'Ancien Régime, and The Map of Early Modern London.
