CanAssist Awards

Scholarships marked with an asterisk (*) are funded by the University of Victoria Foundation.
Applications from students are not required for awards listed in this section.
Unless otherwise indicated in the Terms of Awards, recipients are approved by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of CanAssist.

One or more awards are given to undergraduate students volunteering with CanAssist or on a co-op placement in CanAssist and who have a demonstrated interest in working/volunteering in the disability arena. Students in at least 3.0 units in one of the three terms in the academic year are eligible to receive the funding. Approval of the recipients will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of CanAssist.
