Diana M. Priestly Law Library
The Law Library is named for its founding librarian, Diana M. Priestly, who was Law Librarian and Professor of Law from 1974-1987.
Students enjoy the informal seating with its comfy chairs and couches.
An overhead view of the stacks - there are over 180,000 volumes in the library.
The current periodicals reading area is situated near the entrance of the library.

Locate both electronic and print materials available to UVic students.

Use the library
The Diana M. Priestly Law Library is open to the public and all university students regardless of faculty affiliation. However, some services are for UVic law students only.
Research help
The library provides the following research services:

- Research guides: On specific legal topics.
- Legal research videos: A series of short video tutorials for researching primary and secondary sources.
