Digital Indigenous Studies Project Fellowship

Congratulations to Dr. Jeffery Ansloos, who was recently awarded a fellowship in the Digital Native American and Indigenous studies project (DNAIS). The fellowship will include four days of training on digital and narrative research from Indigenous perspectives at Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis in May 2017. The focus of the project is to bring together Indigenous scholars to explore issues of pedagogy and the application of Digital Indigenous Studies research and methods in undergraduate, graduate and extracurricular classrooms across Indigenous geographical contexts. Dr. Ansloos’ proposal seeks to increase the scope of current research on liminality and Indigenous youth identities through digital story telling. This program is funded by the US National Endowment for the Humanities, Office of Digital Humanities.
