Ring Road Traffic Disruptions
NCIL Construction Site – Ring Road and McGill Road Intersection
As part of the ongoing National Centre for Indigenous Laws (NCIL) construction, the contractor will be unloading, hoisting, and fastening the large concrete wall panels to the building structure.
To facilitate this work, traffic will be stopped for periods of 5-15 minutes along Ring Road while the wall panels are delivered and lifted into place. Additional flaggers, signage, and traffic management personnel will be present to support this work. The Project Team is anticipating 8 deliveries to site each day.
Buses arriving to the UVic Campus should not be impacted. Buses leaving campus may be re-routed to avoid this section of Ring Road. All changes or impacts to bus schedules can be viewed on the BC Transit website.

Please provide additional time when commuting to or from the UVic Campus. Please follow directions of construction signage.
