Ian Walker, geography, new study on extreme weather

(September 22, 2015) - As storm season approaches, BC coastal communities need to prepare for the possibility of extreme flooding and erosion that come with both El Niño and La Niña weather systems, according to a new study published in Nature Geoscience. Ian Walker is co-author of the study and was interviewed by the Canadian Press, with that story picked up widely online by national media including the National Post, Globe and Mail, Metro News Canada and Global News.
