UVic ranked among the elite top-200 institutions globally
February 26, 2014 - The 2014 QS World University Rankings by Subject have been released and UVic is ranked among the elite top-200 institutions globally for scholarship and research in six subject areas: English language and literature, psychology, earth and marine sciences, geography, physics and astronomy, and law. Also noteworthy is Faculty of Social Sciences, Geography department maintained the global ranking it had last year, falling into the 100-125 grouping of ranked geography departments worldwide, and that Geography appears to have the highest H-index score of any unit at UVic.
