Stock-tober food drive

- University of Victoria

Join us for Stock-tober and help support students’ access to nutritious free food on campus.

This Student Affairs’ annual fundraiser for the UVSS Food Bank & Free Store provides students with basic food and necessities while working to eliminate the stigma around accessing food banks.

With the rising costs of housing, childcare, and food, the need for support has surged. Every week, hundreds of UVic students come to the Food Bank & Free Store. In September 2020 alone, more than 300 hampers were distributed.

Your support will give a helping hand to students who are struggling to cover their tuition and the cost of living, allowing them to focus on their studies and achieve their full potential.

Support this important initiative by donating goods or funds Oct. 1-28 as part of the Student Affairs annual Stock-tober event!

This year Island Savings has generously agreed to match Stock-tober monetary donations up to $2,500!
