University flag to be lowered in honour of UVic employee Greig Cosier
The university flag will be lowered on Thursday, Jan. 26 in honour of UVic employee Greig Cosier, who passed away Jan. 7, 2017. Greig worked in Facilities Management as a custodian for more than 22 years, and volunteered his personal time to UVic events at every opportunity. He made many contributions to students in the sciences, including awarding an annual Custodians Trophy.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Jan. 26 from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. at the Interfaith Chapel.
