Michael Wilson and Darrin Mah were among five winning teams in the 2014 Pitchit! competition that took place Jan. 28. Their winning business idea, Nightshade, is a coating for fingernails that detects rohypnol and GHB by changing colour in the presence of the substances. The annual Pitchit! competition asks participants for their “elevator speech”  and gives each team 90 seconds to describe their entrepreneurial or social business concept to a panel of experts.More than 21 teams from across campus took part in this year’s Pitchit! competition, vying for five prizes of $300 each.
