Congress 2013 offers academic, cultural and volunteer opportunities

Faculty, students and staff are invited to be a part of Canada’s largest academic gathering from June 1 to 8 at the Congress for the Social Sciences and Humanities, proudly hosted by UVic. Join 7,000 academics and researchers as they share findings, refine ideas and build partnerships that will help shape the Canada of tomorrow.

Much more than an academic conference, Congress will also feature many events and activities that are free and open to everyone, including the Big Thinking speaker series, Canada’s largest academic book fair, daily performances on the outdoor stage, an artisan fair, exhibits, and social and cultural events.
