Senate nominations sought

Nominations are invited for four positions on the UVic Senate, elected by the university convocation, for three-year terms starting Jan. 1, 2012. Convocation members include alumni, past and present members of senate and the board of governors, regular and retired faculty members, regular staff members holding a university degree who have been employed at UVic for at least 12 months, and graduates of Victoria College who completed a full year of studies before 1963. Forms are online at uvic.ca/universitysecretary. Nominations close May 16. If more than four nominations are received, an election by WebVote will be held be from June 13 to 27.
