Still time to join the UVic Speakers Bureau

The UVic Speakers Bureau is recruiting members for the 2011/12 academic year. Please consider joining the UVic’s Speakers Bureau, a free service through which UVic faculty members, staff, graduate students and retirees volunteer to make their expertise and outside interests available to community groups, schools, clubs and other local organizations. The bureau books more than 350 speaking engagements per year, reaching an audience of over 12,000. Membership forms have  been distributed through campus mail, and responses are requested by May 2 in order to meet deadlines for compiling the new guide to topics.
