Family bike ride June 19

Gather your family and grab your bikes for the Saanich Cycling Festival and Family Bike Ride, Sunday, June 19, starting at 10 a.m. at UVic's parking lot #10 (Gordon Head Rd. and West Campus Gate).

From 10 to 11 a.m., cycle  from the University of Victoria to Shelbourne Street and return down McKenzie Avenue, escorted by Saanich Police.

Then, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., snack at the concessions, provide your input to the Vision for the Shelbourne Corridor, view displays, participate in a variety of activities and groove to the Celtic sounds of Cookeilidh and the old-time rock and roll of Flat Rabbit (UVic's linguistics department's 'official house band').
