BC Community Achievement Award 2014: WITS and Bonnie Leadbeater

Over the past 15 years, professor psychology at the University of Victoria, Dr. Bonnie Leadbeater, has partnered with educators and police in the development of evidence-based anti-bullying programs for primary and middle schools. The effectiveness of the WITS (Walk Away, Ignore, Talk It Out and Seek Help) programs in BC and across Canada demonstrates Dr. Leadbeater's outstanding community contribution.
