In the Faculty of Social Sciences, we see education, knowledge creation and creative activity as crucial, not only to social and economic progress and competitiveness, but to constructive global citizenship and civic engagement.

You must be the change you want to see in the world. —Mahatma Gandhi

Changes in our society are putting our natural and social systems under stress. The protection of the environment, our health and our social well-being demands our attention more and more.

Social Sciences is developing innovative ways to address and solve these issues across all of our disciplines: Anthropology, Economics, Environmental Studies, Geography, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology. Within each discipline our teaching and research methods continue to evolve, contributing to a better understanding of the world in which we live.

We are changing, even as the world is changing. We encourage you to make the transformation with us.

Help us to keep Social Sciences at the forefront of education: changing lives, changing communities and changing the world.
