(March 28, 2017) - PhD student Alisha Gauvreau spoke to the Vancouver Sun about her research on the Heiltsuk village site, among the oldest human settlements in North America, with Duncan McLaren and Quentin Mackie of UVic's anthropology department. Gauvreau will present her findings at the annual meeting of the Society for American Archaeology on Thursday in Vancouver, which will be attended by 3,000 archaeologists from around the world.
