Stephen Hume column: Grizzly hunt fails test of science, experts say

March 24, 2014 - In his Vancouver Sun column today, Stephen Hume quotes extensively from an open letter by UVic's Chris Darimont and Paul Paquet and two other BC scientists in the international journal Science. The letter is critical of the BC Liberals' management of the annual grizzly bear trophy hunt, saying it fails the most basic scientific standards—transparency, intelligibility, and rigorous evidence.
