Michael covers collections, instruction, reference, and research questions for Medieval Studies, Philosophy, and Political Science.

Michael was born in BC, studied Classics at Concordia University (BA Hons.), and earned an MA in Medieval Studies from the University of Toronto with a thesis was on the role of monasteries in Charlemagne's empire. He completed his MLS at U of T.

Michael has experience in a number of academic and professional libraries as a rare books librarian and as a law librarian. He has written for academic and popular publications, has been involved in professional associations in many positions, has served on the editorial boards of academic journals, and delivers community talks and bookbinding workshops via the Speakers' Bureau. He is liaison librarian for Medieval Studies, Philosophy, and Political Science, and is the High School Outreach Program coordinator.
