William C. Mearns Centre for Learning – McPherson Library is the main library. It houses the Music and Media Commons, the University Archives, Special Collections, the Learning Commons, the International Commons and the BiblioCafé.

The Diana M. Priestly Law Library, located in the Fraser Building, welcomes all University of Victoria students and staff to the newly renovated Law Library.
The Curriculum Library, located in MacLaurin D201, provides support for the learning, teaching and research needs of education students.
The University Archives contains university records and provides public access to personal archives of individuals and organizations, specifically within the Pacific west coast region.
Special Collections contains rare books and unpublished material and provide opportunities for doing original research in diverse areas.
The Bessie Brooks Winspear Music and Media Commons, located on the main floor of McPherson Library, houses a collection of DVDs, VHS, CDs, cassettes, LPs and music scores.
