VOCALiD Victoria Voice Drive
Share the gift of voice.
Starting June 1, 2015, VOICE DRIVE VICTORIA, in partnership with UVic Linguistics, will join an international initiative to collect donor voices for the VocaliD Human Voicebank.
VocaliD is a cutting-edge project that combines the speech of real people as voice donors to create unique vocal identities for individuals who rely on text-to-speech technology to express themselves. The process combines donor speech with recipient sound, to create a voice
that is both unique and personalized to the recipient.
VOICE DRIVE VICTORIA and the University of Victoria are proud to partner with VocaliD to gather voices from donors in this geographic area.
All it takes is a few hours of your time and your willingness to share your voice to change a life.
