Congratulations Sarah Johnston!
2024 History Honours graduate Sarah Johnston has completed her work for the Hannah Studentship from the Canadian Society for the History of Medicine. Her research topic was the history of tuberculosis treatment in BC, using Tranquille Sanatorium as a case study for how socio-economic factors affected access to treatment. Sarah's project was to adapt her Honours thesis (supervisor: Dr. John Lutz) into podcast form as a foray into public history. Before returning to further studies, Sarah is working in France as an English language teaching assistant.
