Engineering Lab Wing Domestic -Water Shutdown /Labs Closure

Facilities Management and Aral Construction are currently building
a new engineering design studio on the north side of the ELW
building. As part of this work, we need to make connections to the
building’s domestic water system, very close to where it enters the
building.

These connections will take approximately 8 hours to complete and
will require a complete shutdown of the domestic water in the
Engineering Lab Wing. Safety showers, eye washes, toilets, sinks,
drinking fountains will all be without water for this period. For
safety reasons, no work may be performed in the labs during this
time.

Toilets, sinks and drinking fountains will remain active in the
adjacent EOW and ECS buildings.
