Engineering Lab Wing (ELW) Boiler Room Renovation – Compressed Air Shutdown

ELW, OAU, CUN, PCH, ELL, MSB & BWC

Facilities Management and Aral Construction are currently working on the renovation of the boiler room on the north side of the ELW building. As part of this work, we will be relocating the primary compressed air line from our shared air compressor.

This work will take approximately 2-3 hours. There will be no general compressed air supply during this time in your building. Compressed air can serve several functions on campus, including creation of a vacuum, aeration, dust removal, and pneumatic temperature controls in some older locations.

No compressed air will be available during the 2-3 hours while this work is being performed. If your work or the safety of your lab require additional considerations beyond a simple pause in activities, I encourage you to reach out to me ASAP, so we can begin the accommodation planning process together.

Currently planned for a single day during the first week in March, from 7:00 am – 10:00 am
