What are the areas of study offered by the Department of Curriculum and Instruction?

We offer degrees in the following areas:

  • Art Education
  • Curriculum Studies
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Language and Literacy
  • Mathematics, Science, Social Studies Education or Educational Technology
  • Social, Cultural, and Foundational Studies

All of the above are offered at a MA, MEd or PhD level

What's the differency between an MEd and MA degree?
  • The MEd is designed to enable the educator to prepare a project that can be used in educational settings.
  • The MA is a researched-based degree where the candidate studies and researches a particular question.
How much does a MA/MEd degree cost?
