The following University of Victoria experts are available to media to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic.
UVic's three new Canada Research Chairs—announced in May and early November—are doing scientific research that cuts to the heart of issues related to human health and
safety.
The world's hottest summers on record will be the new norm within 20 years due to human-influenced climate change, says the president of the Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium at
the University of Victoria.
Dr. Hari M. Srivastava (professor emeritus, mathematics and statistics) was elected as an academician and corresponding member (Foreign Fellow) of the Royal Academy of Sciences of
Spain in March 2016.
