Fall reading break hours

November 9, 2021

The UVic campus will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11 for Remembrance Day. The campus re-opens on Nov. 12. Most campus services, including Advising, Office of the Registrar, the Student Union Building (SUB) and the Bookstore will be closed on Nov. 11.

Weekend crowds on campus

November 4, 2021

Due to the increasing size and recklessness of crowds of young people on university property, the large majority of whom are not from UVic, the university and Saanich Police are taking unprecedented measures to prevent the unsafe weekend gatherings.

It’s time for your flu shot

October 26, 2021

The influenza vaccine is one of the best ways to protect yourself and others from the flu. This year, UVic students can get a free flu shot at drop-in clinics across campus. Faculty, staff and other community members are encouraged to get the jab at a participating pharmacy or community flu clinic.
