University flag lowered in honour of employee Garth Kempster

On Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, the UVic flag will be lowered in memory of Garth Kempster, who passed away on Aug. 2. Garth was a UVic alumnus and taught in the Division of Continuing Studies for 15 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at UVic’s Interfaith Chapel on Aug. 18 at 1 p.m.
