UVic only Canadian university named to “Green” honour roll

The Princeton Review has tallied its “Green Ratings” for 861 colleges in the US and Canada, and the University of Victoria is the only Canadian university to make the top 24 on its 2015 “Green Rating Honor Roll.”

Only those schools that achieved a perfect score of 99 were named to the honour roll, based on criteria in three areas: 1) healthy and sustainable campus life; 2) preparation of students for employment in a world defined by environmental challenges; and 3) the school’s overall commitment to environmental issues.

UVic is committed to promoting the development of a sustainable society through education and research and the stewardship of our own financial and physical resources.
