Christmas Trees On Sale At UVic

The Vikes Christmas Tree Sale is happening once again at the University of Victoria, and runs through Sunday Dec. 20 at UVic’s Centennial Stadium. The sale is taking place from noon till 7 p.m. today and Friday, and on the weekend from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The trees are all grown on the Island and cut the same day they are delivered. The annual fundraiser supports the Vikes cross-country team.

        Tree recycling will also be available again Jan. 9 and 10, 2010
        from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Centennial Stadium
