Bug Push Around Ring Road For United Way

University of Victoria engineering students are preparing for one of the most popular United Way fundraisers, the Engineering Student Society’s Annual Bug Bush. Due to construction on campus, the Bug Push will take place Sunday, October 29 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Teams of engineering students, staff and faculty will join forces to raise funds by manually pushing a VW Bug around the 2.2 km Ring Road for 12 hours. Last year’s event raised over $2,500 for the United Way of Great Victoria.
