April symposium featured international speakers and discussions

Walls, Migration and Border Co-operation

Borders in Globalization and the Jean Monnet EU Centre of Excellence cohosted the first of three annual symposiums to encourage public debate on current border and migration issues. This symposium featured presentations and discussions examining the (re)enforcement of Europe's borders, and proposals for border walls and fences in North America, with colleagues from Denmark/Germany, the Netherlands, Quebec and Canada (UVic).

This symposium was FREE and open to the public.
