How to apply to the UVic Dual Degree program
Dual Degree students apply for entry directly into Year 3 of the BCom program, after successfully completing a minimum of two years at their home institution. Prior to entering the Gustavson BCom program, students must complete the required pre-commerce courses. Admission to the BCom program is competitive. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance.

Eligibility
The Gustavson Dual Degree program is open to second and third year international students who are currently studying in one of our Dual Degree Partner Universities.
Admission requirements
Please contact your home institution to enquire about specific dual degree admissions requirements.
English Language Proficiency
All applicants to UVic (regardless of country of origin or citizenship status) are required to demonstrate competence in the English language by the admissions deadline of January 31.

A conditional offer may be given to students who do not reach this level by the admissions deadline and may register for UAP (University Admission Preparation), a four-week intensive summer program which runs in August.

Step 2: Prepare supplemental application
The supplemental application is an opportunity for you to introduce yourself to us. This is your chance to highlight any work, leadership, academic, volunteer and/or life experiences. Here you can reflect on how these experiences have allowed you to learn, develop and grow. We encourage you to use examples – whether those be in the classroom, in recreation activities, at work, through personal experiences or in community endeavours.

What are the three things that you want us to know about your, and how will these contribute to your success in university and our Bcom program?
- Please provide specific examples
- Minimum 250 words in paragraph format.

Gustavson BCom students create a real impact in local and global communities. Please tell us: what impact do you intend to create, and how will the Gustavson BCom program help you to do this?
