On-campus child care
The University of Victoria offers high quality licensed child care on campus for children from birth through twelve years of age, including summer programs. Apply well in advance as demand exceeds availability for many programs. For more information, check out the UVic Child Care Services website.

A wide variety of high quality summer camps for children are offered at UVic.
Island Family Information website
The
Island Family Info site provides up-to-date child care information for local families with children aged 12 and under. You can find out about average child care fees, government and municipal services, children’s programs, education, health, libraries and books, community organizations and relevant links and articles. Links are provided by area including Victoria and Sooke, the areas closest to UVic, and as far away as
CCRR BC, which has information on child care services in the rest of the province.

Canadian Pediatric Society in English and French. It includes advice on how to find a doctor, pregnancy and babies, behaviour and development, immunization, healthy eating, keeping kids safe, teen health and many other topics. You can sign up for their monthly electronic newsletter,
