Sessional Lecturer Openings

The Academic and Technical Writing Program has sessional lecturer openings available for the coming 2026-2027 academic year.

Position:

Sessional Lecturer, CUPE 4163 (Component 3)

To Teach: 

Up to five[1] regular (1.5 unit) on-campus or online sections, September-December 2026, and January-April 2027

Salary: 

  • Sessional Salary Scale (1.5 units)
  • $6,800 - $8,312 plus 4% vacation pay

The selection criteria will include the qualifications and ability of the candidate(s) based on relevant education, professional experience, and evidence of teaching effectiveness in academic and/or technical writing courses. Selected candidates will be invited to interview with the program director and relevant course coordinator(s).

The program reserves the right to fill additional teaching assignments from the pool of applicants for this posting. Positions are subject to funding and enrolment.
