Dr. Craig Kuziemsky, PhD, FIAHSI, is the Associate Vice-President, Research, at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta. He is an experienced teacher, researcher, and administrator. He has developed and taught undergraduate and graduate courses and has an extensive record of student supervision at all levels. Prior to joining MacEwan in 2019 as Associate Vice-President Research, Dr. Kuziemsky spent 12 years at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa where he held academic and administrative positions. From 2016-19 Dr. Kuziemsky was the University of Ottawa Research Chair in Healthcare Innovation. He was also awarded the University of Ottawa 2013 Young Researcher of the Year Award in the Social Sciences and Humanities.

Dr. Kuziemsky’ s research is in health systems management, specifically the design and evaluation of innovative approaches for the management of collaborative care delivery and health system transformation. He has published over 200 peer reviewed conference and journal publications, 8 book chapters, and has co-edited 6 books. Dr. Kuziemsky has been a part of over four million dollars of research funding including $500,000 as principal investigator. Dr. Kuziemsky has led AMIA and IMIA working groups and in 2020 he was elected a fellow of the International Academy of Health Science Informatics.
