Dr. Johanna Kaipio, D.Sc.(Tech.), is working as a postdoctoral researcher at Strategic Usability Research Group (STRATUS) at Aalto University, Finland. Johanna has a strong background in user-centered design including her doctoral thesis about usability of healthcare IT systems. Her areas of research include: usability evaluation of healthcare IT systems, patient experience in the context of children’s hospital, usability evaluation as part of procurement of healthcare and social welfare information system, measurement and metrics of usability.
