Receiving email from UVic

To ensure that you can receive email messages from Undergraduate Admissions and other UVic departments and staff members, make sure that UVic has the email address you use most often on file. We also recommend that you add the "@uvic.ca" domain to your email safe senders, so that important admission messages don't get caught in your spam filter.

Updating your preferred email address

To update your preferred email address:

  1. Create a UVic NetLink ID (if you haven't already done so)
  2. Sign in to the My page portal
  3. Go to "Personal & account profile"
  4. Select the "Contact information" tab
  5. Select the "Address, phone & email" sub-tab
  6. Follow the instructions to update your email address

Updates to your preferred email address in MyPage take effect within 24 hours. Your preferred email address will replace the email you provided when you submitted your application for undergraduate studies.

Students using email addresses provided by high schools

If you are using an email address provided by a school board or private school, make sure to update your preferred email address before you lose access to your school email. Many schools remove a student's email address within weeks or months following graduation.
