Christie Lab Students Accepted to UBC Medical School

Congratulations to Brianna Crighton, Laila Drabkin and Samantha Kennedy who were all recently accepted into the UBC Medical Program!

  • Brianna began working in the Concussion lab in January 2015 as a research volunteer for the NeuroTracker study. She recently completed her B.Sc. in Kinesiology and is a senior research assistant for the National Common Data Elements Study.
  • Laila completed her B.Sc. (Honours) in Biology in 2015 under the supervision of Dr. Christie where she investigated the role of NeuroTracker in detecting mild traumatic brain injury in youth athletes.
  • Samantha recently completed her B.Sc. in Chemistry for Medical Sciences and has been working in the Christie lab since 2011. She is currently one of the Concussion Lab's co-coordinators and is the project coordinator for the NeuroTracker study.
