Theatre collections (non-Canadian)

The archival holdings at University of Victoria Special Collections include: 100 programmes and reviews of the work of Mrs. Patrick Campbell between 1892 and 1912 and 30 cabinet photographs in various roles; a scrapbook containing 17 of the original woodcuts of Edward Gordon Craig completed between 1907 and 1920 and compiled by Claude Lovat Fraser; a small collection on George Bernard Shaw, consisting of nine letters 1887 and 1934; an unpublished typescript designed as original prefatory material for the published volume of the Shaw-Terry letters, and business correspondence concerning their publication (1929-32); and a typescript of an unpublished play by Harold Pinter, "Langrische, Go Down", based on a novel by Aidan Higgins.
