  • The MM program is not designed for graduates who have completed an undergraduate program in Business Administration or Commerce (or an equivalent degree). If you have, please explore our Master of Global Business
GMAT or GRE are not required.

Our Master in Management program is designed for most recent graduates. Therefore, we require all our candidates have no more than 24 months of full-time post-graduation work experience.

If you have more than 2 years of post-graduation work experience, please explore our MBA program.

Your résumé should outline your professional experience and other experiences that may be of interest to the admissions committee. Although formal work experience is not a requirement for eligibility, any work experience that you have had since graduation, or during your studies (Co-op, Internship, part-time work, entrepreneurial ventures, etc.) should be highlighted either in your résumé or by other documentation, as these experiences will be taken into consideration by the committee.

Assessment Reports are required from a minimum of two academic referees who are familiar with your work. Your referees should be individuals who can provide a candid assessment of your abilities. The names and email addresses of your referees are required when you fill out your on-line application.

It is important that you contact your referees before providing their name in the on-line application, in order to confirm their willingness to provide you with an assessment. A letter of reference may also be supplied in addition to the Assessment Report. Please note that additional paper/hard-copy assessment documents are not required.

For more information on how to submit your Assessment Reports, please visit the UVic Graduate Admissions page and scroll down to the ‘Assessment Reports’ section.
