UVic Libraries Book Sale

UVic Libraries' fundraiser for United Way Greater Victoria will be happening again this year from November 19 to 21, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m..
All books in good condition are now being accepted at McPherson Library until Friday, November 8 at the Loan Desk, Research Help Desk or at the Mail Room on the south side of the library (open Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.).
If you have a larger donation or are unable to make it to McPherson Library during these times, you can drop your books off at the Community Donation Drive Day at the Cinecenta entrance to the Student Union Building on Saturday, November 9 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Sign up to volunteer for this here!
Volunteers are needed in all areas. Our sorting phase runs from Tuesday November 5 - Friday November 15 on site at the McPherson Library at the University of Victoria, not including weekends or holidays. Then we move into our set up phase at the Michèle Pujol Room in the SUB on Monday November 18 in preparation for the sale days. Friday November 22 we take it all down. Please note we do not accept:
- vinyl records
- audio cassettes
- VHS tapes
- stereos or audio equipment of any kind
In 2012 UVic Libraries raised $7,643 for United Way Greater Victoria at the United Way Book and Record Sale.
