UVic graduate student places in national competition
At the CARO - COMP Joint Scientific Meeting held September 18 - 21, 2013 in Montréal, Quebec, UVic medical physics graduate student Samantha Harder won second prize in the J.R. Cunningham Young Investigators Award Symposium competition. This competition represents the pinnacle award in Canadian medical physics for students. Samantha Harder is a PhD student working under the joint supervision of Dr. Andrew Jirasek, Department of Physics & Astronomy, University of Victoria and Dr. Will Ansbacher, BC Cancer Agency, Vancouver Island Centre. Congratulations Samantha!
