NSERC Polanyi Prize awarded to ALPHA anti-hydrogen experiment
Canadian scientists, including UVic adjunct and TRIUMF scientist Art Olin, who were part of the international ALPHA collaboration were recently awarded the 2013 NSERC Polanyi Prize. The ALPHA experiment at CERN succeeded in capturing and storing anti-hydrogen, and most recently in measuring its response to microwaves.
